So we started teaching our children the “SHEMA” principle. SHEMA is a HEBREW word that means to HEAR or LlSTEN.We get our materials (It could be bibles or a book) and their flash cards and begin to teach them the art of listening especially in an era where it’s so hard for people to pay attention to anything. I put a 10 minute timer and then shift it to 20 minutes and in those minutes, I train them to just sit and listen. Or finish the task they are assigned to do before shifting their attention
