Your regulator = your throttle. 🌊 Sea level & full pot → keep it tighter. ⛰️ Higher elevation or low fuel → open it up. Tweak it till the flame runs smooth and clean — that’s your perfect burn. 🔥 Gen2 has MUCH LARGER holes you only need about half to one 🕳️ open around sea level this regulator gives for more adjustment especially at higher elevations! #SmudgePotDirect #Gen2Upgrade #SmudgePotSeason #SmudgeLife #OutdoorHeat #DieselHeater #LegendaryWarmth #SmudgePotTips | Smudge Pot Direct

🔥 Easiest Way to Light a Smudgepot: Fill it up • Make sure your Smudgepot has clean-burning fuel (like diesel or a diesel/kerosene mix). Use a torch • A propane torch is the quickest way to light it. Open the lid, aim the flame into the top where the burner pipe is, and ignite. Let it rip • Once it’s lit, give it a few minutes to build up heat. You’ll hear it roar to life. Lock it in • Put on the regulator cap and turn the vent holes toward the return pipe to dial in the burn and boost efficien

When you’re done burning, just close your regulator completely — that cuts off the air supply and slowly starves the flame. Then you'll close the lid at the top of the stack Let it cool down before covering or moving or re filling. Simple as that. 🔥 #SmudgePotDirect #SmudgePotTips #SmudgePotSeason #LegendaryWarmth #DieselHeater #OutdoorHeat #StayWarmOutThere #SmudgeLife | Smudge Pot Direct
