It’s Career and Technical Education Month (CTE), and we’re celebrating the powerful ways CTE connects Tacoma Public Schools students to real-world careers. Through the Next Move program, a Career and Technical Education experience, TPS high schoolers step into professional environments across Pierce County, gaining hands-on training, industry insight and support from dedicated mentors. For Dufe M., a senior at SAMI High School, her placement at Madera Furniture did more than provide work experie
