Tahoe ski resorts report 2 to 4 feet of new snow after a major storm. Donner Pass has reopened as more snow remains possible Thursday.

Northstar California, a popular ski resort located near Lake Tahoe, is reporting a whopping 48 inches of new snow over the last seven days. Skiers and snowboarders are thoroughly enjoying the deepest powder of the season, but it appears that they aren’t the only ones.

A sense of normalcy has returned to ski resorts as a storm that arrived overnight has dumped large amounts of the precious snow that skiers and snowboarders have yearned for over the last few weeks.
